An absolutely charming church in a delightfully rural setting. Access to the church is through a farmer's field; a sign on the church gate asking to ensure that the gate is closed and bolted to keep the livestock out! There is a single Vale Of Belvoir Angel stone here; of the variant type.
The stone to Mary Patchet is unusual, but not unique, in that the angel is at the bottom of the gravestone. This one reads...
'Here lieth ye body of Mary Patchet who departed this life the 29th day of May Anno Domini 1719 in the 59th year of her age'
